What interlinings are used for what type of clothing?

For every application we have different interlinings:
* outerwear for ladies and girls (blouses,dresses,skirts,jackets,blazers,coats)

Shirt interlinings
Used for shirts and blouses in collars, cuffs and plackets Composition : 100 % cotton, top fuse. Sometimes, for casual shirts, non wovens are used for the interlining

 

Non wovens
The non woven based interlinings are usuallly produced from blends polyester/cotton, polyester/viscose, 100% polyester staple fibres, 100% polyamide, polyester/polyamide spun bonded filaments. There are two different types of non woven base materials, the binder-bonded non wovens and the thermo-bonded non woven. Non wovens are often used for mens outerwear and ladies outerwear. Applications depend on the weight of the interlining and can be used from stitched chest piece cover (heavy interlinings) to small parts or even silk applications.

Wovens
cotton, viscose, mixtures, polyamide fusible interlinings used for e.g. front parts and small parts and seams for blazers, jackets, etc.

 

 

Knits
Our knits are available in polyester and nylon. They are often used for dresses, coats and blouses. They give crosswise stretch and lengthwise stability
